Laura Slater is the owner and principal of CurrentBerry Consulting. She has more than 20 years of experience working as a business team member and lawyer within leading corporations and as the owner of a private legal practice that provided services in contract, commercial and technology law to companies of all sizes and governmental entities. Her extensive background working with cross-functional and multidisciplinary teams on complex projects and transactions, both in international and domestic contexts, along with the knowledge she has developed in business intelligence and data analytics, gives her a unique perspective when assessing opportunities for improvement and recommending actions. Still a member of the Law Society of Ontario, she has shifted from the private practice of law and now applies her skills in a broader consulting capacity to help businesses and other organizations progress on their key priorities.
